Are there any plans for some more cruising dates in the future? We don't seem to have had much luck with the weather previously. (Nothing new for us! )

Juky 5th and 6th. Worthing Birdman Rally. A truly Icarian event.

The main events are on saturday from 1:30 to 2:30 and on sunday from 1:50 to 2:50, with Sunday being the bigger splash.

We are advised that anchorage is outside the canister buoys, to the west of Worthing Pier, on the off-chance that one of these lemminga really does fly!!

This is not an organised BMBHA event, however, weather permitting, Sandman will be there and we'd be glad of company

After looking at the weather forecast ... which is not good ... we've decided we will go ahead in up to 3's-4's.

Best case scenario will be to head out about an hour or so before the event on Saturday, anchor off and watch, maybe get a few good pics and then head on after to moor for the night at Littlehampton, returning to anchor off again at Worthing to watch the fun again on the homeward journey on Sunday.

Worst case scenario ... the event is cancelled! Or, we drive to Worthing and watch with the rest of the land-lubbers.
